About Missions
Keep those cards and letters coming!
Our missionaries love to hear from you! We have a supply of greeting cards and stationary in the church office along with a list of our missionaries birthdays (including their children's birthdays) and anniversaries. Stop in and pick up a copy of the list and a few cards and let them know you are thinking of them.
Faith Promise is Introduced in 2009:
Did you know that a missionary family can be required to raise nearly $90,000 before they are allowed to serve overseas? That is one reason why we have introduced the Faith Promise campaign. Faith Promise is an opportunity for us as individuals to be faithful with what God has given us and to put our resources to work around the world. It is also a chance to allow God to work in our hearts and lives. Basically it involves designating a few dollars to missionaries and missions projects. Currently, we support our missionaries from a fixed budget. Our goal is to add to that budget through Faith Promise so we can provide a larger percentage of the funds required for the missionaries we support. The Missions Team will share more about this campaign and how you can get involved in the coming months.
